This page tells you all about the places close to Hamilton that you can explore.
1. Rotorua is 1 and 30 minutes away from Hamilton by car. There are also buses that can take you there. The Pullman Hotel is a really cozy and clean place to stay at. There are night markets everyday and lots of food places. Rotorua has SO many activites to do and I recommend going to the Luge Ride.
2.Hobbiton Moive Set. It is about 2 hours away and has a cafe. The tickets are around $80 each but the set is amazing and very interesting to see. Did you know that Lord of the rings was flimed there?
2.Raglan is known for it's beach but it also has a bunch of other stuff. Raglan is a city and has so much to do. It is one of my favourite beaches and even has a playground.
4. Waitomo Caves is a place that you should definatly go to because it has glow worms that you can see and they aslo have cyrstal caves.
5.New Plymouth is known for its mountain. Another name for New Plymouth is Taranaki. It is a city and has amazing food places. It is always so busy because it is very popular.
